TUFF TRUCKS

Unlike most sports which names of the team are well know by it's fans and followers. The TUFF TRUCK competition has a few traveling Pros, but at any given show there are a number of locals that want to try their hand at it. It is the only sport I know that a person can spend less than $200.00, compete, and become a hero in the eyes of those in the stands. Friends and fans of my sites probably already know that my father who is almost 60 years old competes at these shows. I can tell you that one run can cost more to fix the truck than some pay for their trucks. Some of the thumbs below will have a little explanation written for it. To read it just hold your cursor over the thumb a second and the text will pop up.

Some laugh when this one pulls to the line, but it is fast and wild.

2

This one is a 4x4 and gets great air, however the camera man was asleep at the wheel and only caught the impact.

This and the next truck competed in Bloomsburg for 3 days and then went to West Lebanon to compete for the next 3 days. That is punishing on any truck and driver.

The yellow one wound up far enough back that I could shoot both trucks separately crossing the finish line.

This one is famous in Bloomsburg. When he pulls to the line the crowd stirs because they know that he will get big air.

This shot was the impact of the bounce after the impact of the big air in the last shot.
