XTREME THRILL

OWNER: Chris Monsees (I'm not sure on the spelling)

This truck is unique in a couple aspects. First there is no transfer case. The transmission dumps into the (1) center pumpkin of an axle standing on end. Then where it would go into the wheel normally now goes in to the (2) center pumpkin of another axle facing front to rear. Then where the wheels would attach to that axle actually sends a drive shaft to the 2 axles which do drive the wheels.

The second thing that is different is it runs hydraulic rams instead of shocks. The rams are adjustable which allows the truck to sit still with one tire in the air, as pictured above.

This picture was taken by Ken Brubaker for FOUR WHEELER magazine.

Dennis, here's a few shots of Chris Monsees' Extreme Thrill from the four

wheel and off road jamboree in Springfield MO.
