Gun Slinger was born in 1992 with a steel F-150 body and leaf springs. It debuted on August 24th, 1992 in Monroe, PA. In Naples, FL on November 13th, 1992 the truck did an endo and suffer sever damage. The truck was rebuilt and sold to Mac and Liz Plecker to be their Energizer Ride Truck.

Gun Slinger II was started in December of 1992. The truck debut in Jacksonville, FL on January 9th, 1993. Gun Slinger II had leaf springs, but had a new Ford F-150 fiberglass body. August of 1994 it was sold to Steve Woodard, who ran it as Ground Pounder. Steve sold the truck to Paul Shafer in 2000 who has been running it as Bear Foot.

Gun Slinger III was being built in late 1994 and the truck was ready for its first show in January 1995. In 2000 Gun Slinger III was the first truck to beat Tom Meents in Goldberg on TNN's Motor Madness. In March of 2000 they went to the World Finals in Las Vegas and finished second overall in the 2000 racing series.

Gun Slinger IV sports a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado body with the Ragin' Steel paint job. It has a tube frame, C6 transmission, F106 axles with Clark Planetaries, Kuster shocks
