DADDY'$ MONEY

Owner: Andy & Deanna Hackney

Mr.Taft,

First off thanks for posting pictures of my truck, I continue to visit your site on a regular basis to view the new postings. Nearly a year later, having earned a little money from doing displays we had the rollbar built we've (I've) been wanting. Please thank Richard Scott for E-mailing me about Sterling Mfg. in Florida, they did a great job and were really nice people to work with. We've started our next Monster Truck, a tube frame racing version, and would like to send you some pictures of it,as soon as it looks a little more like a truck than a metal pretzel.

Thanks, Andy,Deanna,and Holden Hackney

Hello,

I wanted to send you a couple of pictures of my husband's monster truck. It is still a work in progress but I was hoping you would go ahead and post it on your website. I know he would be tickled to see them on your page. He has been working on the truck on Saturdays and rainy days for almost two years. These pictures were taken just after he got it back from being painted. He had to take the tires off to get it back in the shop to finish working on it. He hopes to have it finished early this Spring and I'll take more pictures then. It already has a lot more chrome on it (as well as a motor). The name of the truck is "Daddy'$ Money" If you have questions or want information on the truck, I can ask him and email it to you. I look forward to hearing from you.

  Thank You, Deanna Hackney

Mr. Taft,

My husband has thoroughly enjoyed visiting your web site and even more so now that his truck is on there. We have shown all of our friends. Here are some updated pictures of the day he rolled it out of the shop and put the tires on it (along with some specifications).

"Daddy'$ Money" is a 1996 Chevy extended cab pick-up (was three different trucks ) painted 96' competition yellow. It has a box tubing frame, 30" arched leaf springs, 4-link bars in front and rear, 24 shocks (total) and two 5-ton Rockwells with a 2 1/2 ton transfer case. It is powered by a 600 horse 454 and a 2-speed turbo 400 transmission. It has a 20 gallon aluminum Jaz fuel cell. "Daddy'$ Money" has a tilt bed and 66" Firestone tires. Every bolt on it has been replaced with a stainless steel bolt. We custom built both front winch bumper and rear drop bumper. The interior is bone stock with the exception of the driver and pasenger seats (which are American Racing 4-point harness seats). The only thing remaining to finish is, we are looking for a triple/double roll bar for the bed.

"Daddy'$ Money" is available for display or events in the Southeast by contacting Andy Hackney at dirtworks@tds.net . We do parades, customer appreciation days, car shows, and most anywhere you want to draw a crowd.

 Thanks very much, Deanna Hackney
