AMERICAN MADE 1

Owner: Daniel Paul Eff of Tucson, Arizona

Joe Johnson, still my good friend, was my crew chief through out my mud and monster racing career. Andy Lore deserves mention also. Andy wrenched and fabricated for me and is still a loyal hardworking part of my ventures. Rodney Wood now owns McGruff and I have just recently gotten back in touch with him. I will forward contact info ASAP. Thanks for keeping alive the history of the big trucks.

Once upon time there was a Super Pro mud truck out of Apache Junction, Arizona called Arizona Sidewinder. Sidewinder later sold to Kenny Goodwin and renamed Horrendous. Horrendous grew into a Monster Truck which Dan bought in 1989 and renamed American Made #1.

Bakersfield 89 first time I drove AMERICAN MADE #1

American Made #1 was hired for a Candid Camera stunt in the early 90s. VJ Kennedy enticed victims to help change the flat tire on her brother's truck she wasn't supposed to be driving. When the mark rounded the corner of the laundrymat they discoverd a monster of a flat tire with a tiny jack, incorrect spare and wrong tools.

Those boys were so hot for Kennedy that they made total fools of themselves trying to do the impossible.
